The high school guidance department offers comprehensive support services to the students of Cicely L. Tyson and their families. It is our goal for all of our students to successfully graduate from high school and be prepared for post-secondary education and career. Our services include academic and personal guidance and counseling. We serve as a liaison between students, administrators, faculty, and parents in addressing the needs of each student.
We do provide onsite counseling services through Montclair Mental Health during the school day for our students. Please click below to download the permission form for your child to participate.
